Bethany Hart, (Grafton HS and U Conn Senior) placed third in the Women's 20 lb. Weight throw with a toss of 57' 4.75". Southern Connecticut's Wadudah Nurul-Islam topped the field at 57' 9.5"
Sheela Agrawal (Case High, eastern Mass and Duke University) placed fourth in the mile in 4:53.39, behind Jill Snyder of Wake Forest, who clocked 4:51.23. Sheela ran 4:57.3 in the prelims.
Bill Spierdowis (eastern Mass HS and Duke University) placed third in the mile in 4:10.98, behind Brendon Mahoney of Georgia Tech, who clocked 4:09.25. Bill clocked 4:10.8 in the prelims.

Abby Rubino, Southwick-Tolland HS and U Mass placed 9th in the 55 meter dash prelims in 7.42. Abby just barely missed qualifying for the finals. However, Abby came back in the long jump to place 3rd with a distance of 17' 7". April Byrd, Virginia Tech, topped out at 18' 4.5"
Johanna Lelke, Southboro and U Mass, placed 4th in the pole vault, soaring 9' 6.50". Janelle Erskine of URI was first at 11' 0.25".
Sean Murphy, St John's '96 and U Mass, ran a scorching 4:14.6 to place 4th in the mile, behind Karl Savage's 4:11.3.

Colleen Burch of Leicester HS and Wheaton College ran 7.49 in the 55 meter prelims, 7.42 in the semis, then 7.44 to place second behind Jackie James USCGA 7.19. Colleen then ran 27.54 for 13th in the 200 meters.
Jana Bromell, David Prouty HS and Wheaton College, placed 2nd in the shot with a heave of 40' 11". Healy Thompson of Williams squeaked out the win at 42' 2.25". Jana then placed 13th in the weight throw, with a distance of 39' 01", eleven feet behind 1st place.

Jill Croft, Gardner HS '98 and U Mass Lowell, ran 7.24 in the 55 Meter dash prelims, then clocked 7.18 to place 3rd. Teammate Ericka Rice was first in 7.09. Jill then chased Ericka in the 200 meter dash. Jill placed 2nd in 26.12. Jill rounded things out by taking 1st in the high jump, clearing 5' 3.75" and winning on fewer misses. Finally, Jill took 1st in the long jump, sailing 17' 11.5", to win by one inch.
Danielle Brideau, Fitchburg HS and U Mass Lowell took the 500 meter dash in 1:24.21.
Joe Sans, Narragansett HS and U Mass Lowell, placed 4th in the 3,000 meters in 8:59.75, a scant 3 seconds out of 1st.
Jonathon Murphy, Worcester's South HS '98 and U Mass Lowell, placed 6th in the 3K in 9:10.85.
Elizabeth Gorecki, Murdock HS and U Mass Lowell, placed in the 500 in 1:25.11.
Tanya Latraverse, Blackstone-Millville Regional HS and U Mass Lowell, took 2nd in the 1,000 Meters in 3:23.44, 13 seconds out of 1st place.
Kristy Pappas, Fitchburg HS '96 and U Mass Lowell, placed 2nd in the mile in 5:39.04, 20 seconds out of 1st place. Kristy then came back in the 3,000 Meters to run 11:27.09, good for 5th place.

Kevin Horgan (Oakmont HS and University of New Hampshire), placed 3rd in the mile in 4:10.18. Teammate Kyle Schneck took 1st in 4:08.14. Kevin also placed 5th in the 3,000 Meters in 8:39.54, 13 seconds out of 1st.
Wesley Shaw, St John's HS and Northeastern, placed 4th in the high jump at 6' 4", 1/2 foot out of first Wes then came back to place second in the Pole Vault at 15' 5.5" on misses. Jamison Whiting topped the field at 16' 4.75"
Katie Litwinowich, Wachusett HS '99 and UNH placed 4th in the 1,000 meters in 2:58.91. Christine Bertram won a squeaker in 2:56.27.
