barryThe Iona College MOC brought together several Ivy Leaguers, the East Coast Military academies, and an interesting collection of Iona, Marist, Sienna, College of New Jersey, U Mass, Boston College, BU, Virginia, and a few others.
In the Men's competition, Patrick Boehm (Wachusett HS 99, Harvard '03) placed 61st with a 27:02.6 over the five mile course. Patrick was Harvard's fourth man. Harvard placed 8th of 14 teams.
Sean Murphy, (St. John's 99, U Mass '03) placed 127th of 170 runners in 28:26.8. Sean was the 8th finisher for U Mass. U Mass placed 10th out of 14 teams.
Only one Central Mass HSers could be found in the Women's results. Sara Saba (Shrewsbury 97, U Mass Amherst) placed 156th of 215 competitors in 20:40 over the 5K course. Sara was the 12th finisher for U Mass, which placed 8th of 17 teams.
Dartmouth competed, but neither Lara Neill (Bromfield 98) nor Erin Dromgoole (Millbury 97) were reported in the results. BC competed, but Millie Crisostomo (Milford 98) is not competing , and Laura Smith (Wachusett 99) did not show in the results.
