barryThe utterly confusing combination of ECAC and IC4A organizations held their annual XC championships at the famed Van Cortland Park in New York on Friday, October 15.
Sheela Agrawal (Eastern Mass' Case HS '99 and Duke Unversity freshman) topped the field in the ECAC Women's champship 5K. Last year, Sheela rolled over the Mass runners at the state XC championships at Gardner.
Jennifer Baudreau (North Middlesex '97, Lasalle junior) placed 36th of 108 finishers in the women's ECAC Coaches run in 20:38.
Over in the Men's IC4A University 5 Miler, Craig Lefort (Northbridge '96 and Columbia) placed 20th in 26:31. Craig was #2 man for Columbia. Columbia placed second behind Manhattan College.
Brian Ermanski (St. John's '99 and New York University frosh) placed 34th in 26:50 in the IC4A Men's University race. Brian, a 1999 T&G track and field all star, was third man for NYU. NYU was the ninth team.
