Wes Shaw (St John's Prep '98 and U Mass Freshman) placed second in the pole vault with a lofty 15' 5 3/4" at the New England Championships held at Orono, Maine.

Sean Murphy (St John's Prep and  U Mass Amherst)  placed 15th in his preliminary heat of the 1500 meters in a nice 4:00.87 at the   New England Championships held at Orono, Maine.

Bethany Hart (Grafton High '95) and U Conn senior, won the hammer throw with a toss of 187' 11" at the New England Championships held at Tufts in Malden, Mass.

Jillian Croft (Gardner HS 98) and U Mass Lowell frosh, placed fifth in the high jump with a leap of 5' 6.25" " at the New England Championships held at Tufts in Malden, Mass.

Kevin Horgan (Oakmont High '97) and UNH Sophomore, placed third in his heat of the 1500 meters in 3:56.0.   Kevin then came back to place fifth in the finals with a 3:50.77.  Robert Mitchell of Amherst took first with 3:46.+.
