Atlantic 10 Championship,
February 20, 1999,at the  University of Rhode Island, Kingston, RI

Leading UMass was freshman Wes Shaw (St. John's Prep,  Auburn, Mass.). Shaw placed second in the high jump with a leap of 6' 07" and placed third in the pole vault with a mark of 14' 09".

Heather Palmer (Frosh, Sterling, Mass.), and Johanna Lelke (Frosh, Southboro, Mass.) finished with marks of   9' 8", and 9' 2 1/4" respectively in the pole vault.
