Kristy Pappas (Fitchburg HS 96) and U Mass Lowell senior placed third in 19:11, just 12 seconds behind the winner, Lauren Saul of Southern Connecticut State. Kristy was top finisher for Lowell. U Mass Lowell placed 2nd in the meet.
Danielle Brideau (Fitchburg HS 96) and U Mass Lowell senior was fifth finisher for Lowell, in 16th place with a time of 20:52.
Here's another Narragansett HS'er, Joe Sans (class of 98). Joe was top finisher for U Mass Lowell, and placed 5th in the Men's race in 25:15. Dustin Blair of SCSU took first in 24:36.
Right behind Joe was another Narragansett HS'er, Nate Jenkins (99). Nate was the #2 finisher for U Mass Lowell, and placed 7th in 25:33.
Jonathan Murphy (Worcester's South HS 98) was U Mass Lowell's sixth man, placing 21st in 26:22.
