Memberships received after March 1st are being extended through June 2000.
The printed newsletter is a monstrous expense to the club. With so many people online, or getting online, coupled with the fact that we are able to put our newsletter online, we feel that many individuals will opt for the new choice. Current plans call for the last printed newsletter to be the June/July 2001 issue. After that, two-sided, one page "updates" will be sent out on a "need-only basis
And the new options? Dues for the new membership year will remain $12 if one does not want the printed newsletter, $15 with the printed newsletter. So, if you join between March 1999 and June 1999, and send $12, your membership will be good through June 2000 and you will receive only the next two copies of the printed newsletter (April/May 99 and June/July 99).
Should you send $15 between March 1999 and June 1999, your membership will be good through June 2000 and you will receive the next eight printed newsletters.
In sum:
Single membership through June 2000 = $12 without the printed newsletter; $15 with the printed newsletter.
Family membership through June 2000 = $16 without the printed newsletter; $20 with the newsletter.
High age and younger = $3 without the printed newletter; $5 with the printed newsletter.
