barryThe jingling of bells in the cold, clear air started the final 5K of the 1999 Series. The first installment of the 2000 Series will be run on January 8, 2000.
CMS Newsletter mailing list major domo, Palmer Beam, traveled all the way from Colorado to participate in the race. A new club, JIM, appeared in the results. Drew Durski, of Team Durski (see the summer 5K results) finished a nice 7th. Joe Alfano approached the record for most races assisted as a volunteer, without running in the race. Once again, Team Lemerise held the show together, with Annette leading the volunteers and president Rich sailing around the course. Rich would run faster, but his secret service contingent (he IS the president) gets in the way.
