1999 CMS 52-Week 5K Series Race #19

Fortunately, there are three courses which can be used for the Wednesday night 5K's. The one which was supposed to have been used this week was made somewhat dangerous due to the installation or repair of a septic system to one of the houses on the course (probably thanks to the politicians who have given Title V to the residents of Massachusetts). Therefore, a last minute switch was made to the same course used each of the last two weeks

31 people had the common, but solid experience of running 3.1 miles, in a safe, healthy endeavour.  Free from the worries of family, work, and bills.  No deadlines...just the finish line.  Can you ask for much more?  John Finnell didn't even ask.  He just volunteered.  Then, to top off his day,  he won the weekly 52-week series 5K raffle. Yowza!
