You know that time has taken its toll when you are out running near the two-mile mark in a 5K and a long-time friend utters the following as he is passing you, "Gee, remember when we used to run a faster pace than this for a marathon?" Oh, well . . .

Three CMS members who ran today's race - Ken Deary, Eddie Gallivan and Ed Sato - left immediately afterwards to race Stu and Dick's Wachusett Reservoir Deer Run in Boylston which was scheduled to start two hours after CMS 5K Series Race #44.
