With a heavy turnout of Doherty Memorial High School and Assumption College cross country team members, the first of the CMS 52-Week 5K Series races to be run as cross country (#35 - September 2) had 57 finishers. That number dropped to 33 a week later without the presence of the Doherty team. Back to school for the little buggers!

With the Assumption runners absenting themselves because of an impending meet, this week's race attracted only 10 runners.
