Hot hot hot! Vince Kotowski opened up a 50 yard lead at the half-way mark, then gradually extended it over Jamie Lee.  You will notice that several UROs are listed below.  In reality, these runners just vaporized in the exceptionally hot and humid conditions.  Too bad, they were both running PRs.   Carol Robichaud, first female at #20,  took it easy on the old guys convention that finished just behind her.  Carol just kept chuckling at the wheezing from the old geezers behind her.  There were only two women in the entire field (pending identification of the DNA from the vaporized UROs), proving once again that two women are the general equivalent of 33 men. 

Do you remember the Winter?  Snow,  freezing cold,  toes numb,   trying to get through that first mile so your body could warm up and adjust to the stabbing wind.  Dark by 5pm.   Dangerous footing.  Dangerous drivers.  Icy, treacherous runs.  This little 5K was conducted under the bright sun with temperatures in the 90s and humidity in the 90s.  What was missing?  Gloves, caps, long-sleeved sweat shirts, long pants, double shirts and neck warmers.  Man, I'll take this any day.   Bring on the heat!

Rumor has it that the Web Guy actually ran in this 5K.  Those rumors are false.  The Web Guy did not run.   To run, you must move with some alacrity from start to finish.  Shuffling your feet and singing 'do-wah diddy diddy' does not qualify.
