CMS 5K Series Race #23 |
For the first time in the long history of the CMS 52-Week 5K Series, a professional boxer completed one of the races. What makes this particularly unusual is that the boxer is a female, one of the very few professional female boxers in New England. Dawne George of Gardner, Massachusetts, who has a record of 1-0, said her biggest problem to date has been trying to find other women in the region against whom to compete.
