Where have all the young men gone? Long-time passing. As Dick Karvonen commented after the race, "I was 11th overall and the 8th age 50+ runner!" Of the 26 finishers, 16 were age 50+.
Wider is better? Maybe. But clearly, older is better. In CMS 5K #19, Peter Orni of Fitchburg (in the 50+ category) rolled away from Keith Orni of Penn State (in the 20+ category). Take that, you young whipper-snapper!
