CMS 5K Series Race #16 Cross Country |
The intended course - a very hilly modified loop - remains partially underwater. Consequently, the back-up course - a flat, double-and-back - was used for the third straight week. Over half of the scant field of 19 was female.
The volunteers were, once again, outstanding. However, one volunteer was clearly out standing...directing runners correctly at the critical first fork and then later pulling down yellow tags from trees. That volunteer was Alice Eriksen.
