Worcester, MA - October 18, 1997

In conjunction with CMS 5K #42, the Worcester State College women's basketball team organized the Lancer Loop 5K to benefit the team. Each member of the team had to try to recruit five runners. If they failed, they had to run/walk the course. Unfortunately for the team and the team members, the Lancer Loop attracted only eleven runners, six of whom were CMS members. Most of the WSC team ended up jogging/walking the race ex-officio.
