Five for Five

The runners were sparse once again this week due to the fluffy white stuff descending from the sky. Even our recent bounty of volunteers was low. With WSC closed, we ran the race out of the back of our cars and up until the point we were heading to the starting line, we had a ratio of 1 volunteer for every runner but then, boom, we more than doubled the number of runners as they seemed to drop from the sky along with the snow. Up until that point, both Mark and Lester would've been battling it out for a pair of firsts, neither of them have finished first before and neither has finished last.
