Friday's winter storm made for a bit of small turnout this week. All the youngster runners -- and oldsters -- stayed home; only the 40-49 and 50-59ers came out to play in the snow.

Alice McKeon (21:15) was the overall winner of the 5K race. Alice joins an exclusive group of ladies who've finished 1st overall in a 52-Week Series race. (Among CMS members who done this feat recently, only Barbara McManus and Carol Hurley come to mind. Maybe I'm forgetting some others?)

Placing 2nd overall was John McCarthy of Auburn, 1st among the gentlemen.
