A sunny and pleasant day for a run. Many participants showed up, to take part in the final race of the Winter 2006-07 series of 5K's at Worcester State.

Brad Fors (17:24) and Barbara McManus (18:49) were the overall winners in the men's and women's races, respectively.

But the big story at this week's race was a visit from Dave Birse. Longtime readers of cmsrun will recognize Dave as the "Zucchini King". But he's also got quite an impressive streak going: Dave Birse has competed in at least one running race every month, for the past thirty years!

Reminder, we move up to Devens for our spring/summer series starting on Wednesday, April 4th. The race will start at 6pm. The course remains the same at Devens; however, we will be meeting at Vicksburg Sq on Buena Vista St instead of across the field at the gazebo.
