A few patches of black ice on the 5K course this morning, especially on the smaller/less-travelled roads.

Kevin McCusker had no problem with the footing. His finish time (18:12) was strong enough to beat the rest of the field, including last week's champ Adam Parslow (18:28).

High school phenom Jessica Jarrard won the ladies' race -- her 21:22 was some forty seconds ahead of the nearest competition. Kate Diogo and Carol Hurley battled it out for the silver.
