The first 5K race of the new year was a very happy one -- record warm temperatures, and plenty of new friends who'd heard about our series from the Cool Running calendar.

People were in such a good mood they even brought food! Jan McNamara baked her famous banana bread, and Carol Helander brought homemade fruit jams. (And Tracy Flynn brought home-baked bread as well!)

... The winners of this week's race were Jamie Aubuchon (18:15) and Barbara McManus (18:36). The first male runner for CMS was Mike Weinberg. Wheeler defeated Thompson in the race for First Guy Named Travis. Pippi Johnson was the first chihuahua.
