A. Because he had no body to go with, and he didn't have the guts to ask anyone out!

... The speediest runners of this morning's 5K race were Scott Leslie (17:06) and Eric Thibaud (19:10). The third-place runner, Marty Barry, showed us an interesting item that he'd brought to the registration desk before the race: a CMS-insignia mug from a road race in 1990!

The ladies' race was won by Shanna Hauver, in a very strong 20:07. Kate Diogo finished a few seconds back; and Linda Usher out-kicked Joanne Lachapelle for the third spot.
