Two dozen runners, a decent amount of rain, and a modicum of confusion.

The rain brought out not just the regulars, but some irregulars. Jimmy Knuuttila and Andrew Nadermann ran the course for the first time, and each noted ruefully their collapse near the end. But Jimmy still ran fast enough for first Junior.

We had three self-timed runners: two started early, one started late. Most of them didn't get lost, but we did need to redirect at least one wanderer.

Tom Steele continued his habit of winning each time he shows up, with faster times each time. His partner-in-speed Karla Steele has now started a similar streak on the women's side. Ted MacMahon, who usually runs in longer or steeper races, was second over the finish line for a "1st master".
