First very warm race day of the year. At these times, it's about showing up and surviving in style, not about PRs and placing. Turnout was lighter than usual, and many folks ran a bit slower, but they all toughed it out.

Andres Salmeron, running with a 'master's' tag for the first time, won first master. Are birthday congratulations in order, or did we just hand out the wrong tag?

On toughing it out: Young Jessie Spinelli ran the whole 5K, his first run at this distance in the full heat. His reward? First male junior.
