A fine turnout, much to tell. Let's look at the women's race this week: four women, four stories, crossing the finish line one after the other.

Tina Kelley was the first female finisher, and the first female master. She was paced in by her husband John, who won this week's race minutes earlier in 17:25. Next was CMS triathelete Melissa Hult, first female in the 20-39 group, returning to the 5K series after some time away. Next was Darlene Hoover, mountain runner & frequent CMS 5K runner, winning first female senior. And then, after a smiling Bernie Jensen crossed the line, our first female Junior, Kayla Reeves, of the very fast Reeves family.

On that family-running front, we can report that over a third of our runners this week were related to other runners in this race.

And the sun came back!
