CMS 52-Week 5K Series Race #9

Worcester State College
Worcester, MA
March 4, 2006

A very strong day for the ladies!

  • Karla Walter and Karen Berni-Giarusso outran all the male competitors in the 40-49 age group.

  • Linda Usher defeated all the male runners in the 50-59 division.

  • And Laura Beckwith would have given Dick Hunt & Jerry Lembcke a good fight in the 60-69 age group... but instead she saved her legs for the Stu's 30K race the next day.

Oh yeah, the overall winners of this week's 5K were Dan Navaroli (19:37) and Adam Parslow (19:40), with Amanda Learned winning the prize for first female (21:16).
