Congratulations to John Hendrick, who recently turned 60 years old and joined the highly competitive 60-69 "veterans" age group. Happy birthday, John, and a very happy Veterans' Day!

This morning's 5K was a fast one, with the top four runners each finishing well under the 18:00 mark. Scott Deslongchamps led the charge (17:00), followed by Dan Savukoski (17:30). John Kelley (17:37) ran a strong race after spending several months on the disabled list, and Tom Steele (17:50) had a solid performance in his 52-Week Series debut.

The top women's finishers were Amanda Learned (21:12), Karla Walter (22:47) and the unstoppable Linda Usher (23:15).
