Throw in some cold temperatures in the 20's and the crowds were a little less this week as only 25 people toured the WSC 5K loop. Tim Boilard lowered the course record on the newly measured course as he was the top runner and first CMS finisher. You may remember that last week was the first week we had the 40 or so extra yards tacked to bring it up to the full 5000 Meters. Arleigh McRae was next across the line and 1st Junior. Carol Hurley finished 5th overall and top woman and first CMS woman. Gwen Hogan traveled in from Marlboro with her Dad and was the first female Junior in today's race. Congrats to all!

3 More weeks for the 2005 season! Looking to next year, CMS welcomes the sponsorship of the Nantasket Beach Hotel who will be providing prizes for the 2006 52 Week Series. Prizes of a One Night Midweek stay at the hotel will be awarded to the top male/female in in the following categories:

a) Runner/volunteer who participated in the most races
b) most improved 5K time (5 race minimum)
c) random draw from all weekly winners
