The most interesting competitor at this week's race was Pippi, a chihuahua from Paxton. With her master Mark Johnson in tow, Pippi completed our 5K run in a time of 22:12, good enough to tie for ninth place. Pippi enjoys doing long runs of up to 18 miles! Pound for pound, she's one of the strongest runners we've ever seen. ... Meanwhile in the human race, the winners of the 5K were Brad Fors (17:26) and Kate Diogo (20:34). |
