This morning's 5K was actually two events in one: it was race #42 in the CMS 52-Week Series, and the "fun run" in Worcester State College's homecoming weekend.

Among the members of the Worcester State family who turned out for the race:

• Louis Cote (16:54) earned the first prize overall.
• Todd Deslongchamps (18:21) finished in 3rd.
• Barbara McManus (18:51) won the ladies' race.
• Julie Paradis (21:33) was the #3 female.
• Bill McGee ran a very quick 23:36.
• And Larry Salate made his return to running after a 25-year layoff!
