This week's 5K summary practically writes itself....

Dan Navaroli won the men's race by a very big margin, and he lowered the Devens course record by half a minute -- down to 16:40.

Lisa Danielson trimmed nearly two minutes off the ladies' course record, as she cruised to an easy victory with a time of 20:37.

... And last but not least, Travis Spinelli brought his little brother Jessie Spinelli along to volunteer. This first-grader is a whiz kid with numbers -- Jessie helped make change at the registration desk, he handed out the place-of-finish numbers at the finish line, and he told me that the air temperature at race time was 64.2 degrees!
