The rain was coming down so hard at this race, we decided to run counter-clockwise -- facing the traffic -- because of the poor visibility. ("Pour" visibility?? No pun intended!) |

CMS' own Brad Fors won this week's race by over 3 minutes, finishing in a time of 17:31. Considering that Brad was using this 5K run as a tune-up for the Boston Marathon, he should be due for a fast time on Patriot's Day. In the ladies' race it was Annie Gorski's turn to finish on top (20:35); she outpaced last week's winner Jen Wilcox with some 40 seconds to spare. |

... Thank you to Mark Brooks for sharing his computer expertise, and Stan Vancelette for advice on where to find a good pair of running shoes. |
