Heavy snow showers this morning; the visibility was poor and the footing slippery.

Just 3 runners ventured out to compete in our 5K race -- Bob Brady, Pat Clark and Karen Lemerise -- but for their efforts they all came away with a CMS random draw prize and a very high place-of-finish.

Special honor this week goes to Jerry Lembcke, who ran from his house to the starting line, then announced that conditions were hazardous for running, and proceeded to run back home! (It didn't seem illogical at the time.)
