At the 5K registration desk we see a lot of items that runners have left behind -- mostly gloves and hats that they've taken off at the start of the race, and forgot to pick up afterward.

This morning Rahtamian Lumpkins left us something sillier than usual: an appointment card for his next dental visit! (Must have been the excitement of being the first CMS male to finish the 5K run, and then winning a pint glass at the raffle.) Anyway if Rahtamian is reading this, please pick up your appointment card before, oh ... the morning of March 23. (-:

Congratulations to Dan Ostiguy (18:13) for winning the race overall, outpacing the rest of the pack by well over a minute-per-mile. And special congrats to Alice McKeon (21:27) for defending her women's victory from last week; she has finished #2 overall for the past two weeks in a row!
