A happy, busy Saturday morning at Worcester State.

The gym lobby was occupied with the annual Martin Luther King celebration so we held the 5K registration in the Auditorium building, just as in previous years.

But the Auditorium was reserved at the same time by another group... 100 grade-school girls participating in a cheerleading practice! (Fortunately the building was big enough to accommodate everybody.)

Not many surprises at the finish line of this week's 5K race, with repeat winners Jonathan DiNitto (19:20) and Carol Hurley (20:34) picking up the top male and female prizes. Mike Sikorski had an outstanding race, running a 20:19 to place 2nd overall. Masters Dave Krom and Drew Durski rounded out the top five.
