Maybe not a great day for racing -- conditions were pretty cold and damp -- but still an interesting turnout. This morning's field of runners spanned 10 of the 12 possible age groups: on the men's side there were runners from the junior division (age 0-19) right up to veterans (60-69) and ultra-vets (70+); on the women's side we had runners from the juniors up to the seniors (age 50-59).

Scott Leslie (17:15) defended his title from last week, winning the 5K race by a wide margin. Next up was Brian Clark (19:22) who finished tops for CMS and a comfortable 40 seconds ahead of Steve Prouty.

Lisa Danielson (20:35) had the ladies' race all to herself this week; the real fight was for second place, with Carol Hurley outkicking Alice McKeon by just two seconds.

Race #52 takes place next Saturday! (Then it's a couple of weeks off for the Holidays, and we'll resume the 52-Week Series on Saturday, January 8th.)
