This was a really beautiful weekend for running outdoors -- cool and crisp air temperatures, a little breeze, and rather few cars on the road. (Perhaps all the cars were at the shopping malls, open extra early for the Holidays?)

Anyway, 40 runners took advantage of the nice conditions. Scott Leslie (17:08) led the entire group; Mark Wigler was tops for CMS -- fifth overall -- and on his way to winning the 50-59 age group he outpaced the nearest 40-49 runner by a quarter mile(!).

In the women's race it was Chris Shaffer (18:55) first overall, with the next two places going to Lisa Danielson and Annie Gorski, separated by a slim 3-second margin.
