With so many families getting together for the long holiday weekend, it's fun to see some unexpected faces at our post-Thanksgiving road race.

Longtime CMS member Jason Reed -- now running for CMS' southeastern squad in Tampa, Florida -- was the runner-up in our "longest commute" contest. Mike Durando travelled to our 5K all the way from Tucson, Arizona!

We had two runners competing in the 70-79 age group: Steve Brooks, known to many of you for his participation in the Orchard Hills series; and Boris Aronson from Worcester. (Can the 80-89 age group be far behind?)

... And a hard-fought contest in the women's race as Jen Wilcox beat last week's champ Kate Diogo by just 2 seconds, with Alice McKeon finishing one place back. Linda Usher was tops in the ladies seniors division, and she also outran all of the male seniors!
