... Take the surprisingly big turnout from last weekend's 5K, and double it! A total of 65 runners crossed the finish line at this morning's road race.

Was it because of the Alumni Reunion Weekend at Worcester State College? Or the Bancroft School of Massage, who provided free backrubs for the competitors? My vote goes to Brian Young, coach of the Quabbin Regional High School cross country team, who brought lots of fast kiddies for a training run.

Congrats to Stephen Gemme (17:08) for winning the race by a wide margin. Our next fastest CMS finisher was Scott Deslongchamps, who cruised along at a 6:00/mile pace to finish... sixth(!). This week's ladies winners were Olivia Patch (19:53) and her WSC team-mate Kate Diogo (20:27).
