A surprisingly big turnout for this morning's 5K race, considering that Central Mass sports fans (by the thousands) opted to spend the day in Boston for the Red Sox victory parade.

Jonathan DiNitto was this week's quickest 5K runner, making his way through the rain and the falling leaves in a time of 19:33. Eric Tripodi (19:56) was the lead finisher for the Sherry's House team; he placed second overall. Our first lady this week was Kate Diogo (20:52), who defeated her nearest competition by over a minute. And heading up the women's senior division was our Summer 5K Series director Sarah Fullen (38:37).
