A rather quiet start to the Winter 2004-2005 season of our 52-Week Series. The morning was foggy and cool -- perfect weather for sleeping in -- and many of the CMS members who did get out of bed decided to race up at the Applefest Half-Marathon instead. Ah well.

This week's overall winner was Jim Wackell from Millbury, who is probably much faster than his time (19:59) might indicate.... Jim ran alongside the #2 and #3 runners until the final half-mile or so, due to fear of getting lost on the course! Jim's navigators Drew Durski (20:42) and George Paradis (21:06) were the top finishers for CMS.

Kris Conley (25:08) was this week's first lady and winner of a random draw prize. First veteran Jerry Lembcke was also a random draw winner, but I'm not sure if he picked up his prize. Jerry if you're reading this, please claim your prize next week!
