The Summer 2004 season is a wrap!

Race Director Sarah Fullen outdid herself at last night's 5K run and post-race pizza party. She printed certificates of merit for the outstanding competitors and volunteers -- e.g. Peter Orni was honored for winning his division 19 times(!) this past season.

Sarah also organized a "poker run" to take place during last night's 5K race, so that each runner was handed 5 random playing cards throughout the course. The big winner was Pat Wojtas, whose Full House -- queens over fours -- won her a one-year CMS membership.

Thank you to Sarah Fullen and co-director Steve Veach for making Summer 2004 season such a success. Thanks also to Tim Richards for his generosity with providing our host site for the summer series, the Orchard Hills Athletic Club.

REMINDER: The 52-Week 5K Series now moves to its winter home at Worcester State College -- the races are Saturday mornings at 9:00, starting this weekend!
