There were several interesting duels at this week's run:

• Brad Fors (17:07), on his way to winning his second 52-Week Series race in a row, fought off an early charge by John Flanagan -- noteworthy because Mr. Flanagan is a multisport athlete who commutes to Orchard Hills by bicycling from Worcester!

• Anthony Koroskenyi (19:50) defeated the first master Fran Real by less than a second, as he scored himself a personal-best time for the 5K distance.
  
  
• Evelyn Dolan (26:24), who often serves as a volunteer at our races, laced up the running shoes and outpaced Diane Mitchell to win the women's title.
