An auspicious debut for 14 year old Sean Duncan: less than an hour after joining the Central Mass Striders, he competed in our 5K road race and won it (17:50)! Proud papa Dave Duncan also did pretty well for himself, finishing 4th overall (20:16). Kim Hoffman drove all the way from Cambridge to participate in this evening's run, and her efforts were rewarded with a victory in the women's division (25:06). ... Thank you to the many volunteers who keep our race going each week. |
