• Barbara McManus (19:31) was the first CMS finisher, first lady, and first in the 20-39 age-group. (She's three runners in one!)
  
  
• In the race for top CMS male, it was Navaroli versus Savukoski: would the winner be Dan from Fitchburg State, or Dan from Fitchburg State?... Of course they finished in a dead heat (19:49) and had to share the title.
  
  
• Richard Hunt (24:01) won a very tight race in the men's 60-69 age group, with Art French, Stu Thurston, Otto Lies, and Stan Vancelette all finishing close behind him.
