A very small turnout this week. Was it due to the icy roads? (Or was there a snowshoe race during the same timeslot? Hmm.) The big news at this week's 5K... the top two runners were women! Linda Usher led the way from start to finish (23:33), and Tabitha Lumpkins secured 2nd with nearly a minute to spare (24:56). ... Did the ladies stick around afterward to bask in the glow of victory? Nope, they scooted off to the gym for a session of spinning and then a workout in the pool. Steve Veach was this week's fastest man (25:54). And Michael Weinberg made a solid showing in his return to running after a lengthy layoff. Congrats! |

... For you random-draw prize fans, we're expecting a shipment of Stickman gloves to arrive at the end of this week. |
