A cool and crisp morning, perfect conditions for an outdoor run.

The "Sherry's House" marathon training team visited our 5K race in full force, and Dan Navaroli drove down from Leominster to compete.

But the longest commute was made by Dan Deary and his family, who flew in from Phoenix, Arizona to root for brother Ken Deary and help out with volunteering at the finish line.

The winner of this week's 5K run was John Donovan (18:09); and second place went to Ted Norton -- who started the race 45 seconds later than the other runners(!). The next two places went to CMS: Sean Doyle ran a 19:36, and Member-at-Large Kevin Fallon finished in 19:53.

Linda Usher was the first lady (22:59), the first female senior, and a winner of a random-draw CMS pint glass!
