The inaugural race of the Winter 2003-04 season was really three races in one....

• For many runners, this was an ordinary CMS Saturday-morning 5K. Pat McCormick won the race quite handily (18:50), finishing nearly a minute ahead of Ron Dolat (19:41) and Brian Chabot (19:44).
  
  
• For our host institution, Worcester State College, this was their annual Alumni Weekend road race. Nick Kanaracus was the first WSC alum across the tape (19:54); and the ladies overall winner, Annette Lemerise (26:17), is also a graduate of Worcester State.
  
  
• Lastly this was a training run for the mighty WSC Hockey Team. Though we only managed to get a few of the players' names, a whopping 50% of all the finishers of this morning's race were members of the hockey team. Great job, guys!
