No major surprises at this week's race -- conditions were warm and humid; Andy and Danny finished 1-2; and race director Sarah Fullen put a smiley face on every one of the contestants' place-of-finish numbers.

... Here are some items that don't happen every day:

Bob Johnson won the master's prize with a time of 19:11. Not bad for someone who recently qualified to compete in the Ironman Triathlon World Championships in Kona, Hawaii (October 18). Congrats, Bob!

This week's 5K had only five female competitors(!). Sarah Loiselle was the first to finish (22:45), but nearly all of the ladies took home an age-group victory.

Most important of all: Matthew, Michael and Lindsey found a really big puddle near the finish line, great for splashing in.
