A strong race for the kids from Whitinsville Christian High. Dan MacKay led from start to finish (16:25), running well ahead of college-meisters Andy McCarron (16:40) and Danny Savukoski (17:07).

Dan MacKay's teammate Craig Hanson placed fifth overall (19:17). His sister Rebecca MacKay was fourth in the women's race (21:57); the only women to outrun her were UConn's Cara Reardon (20:21) and NMC's Karen Palmer (20:25) + Kris Gleason (21:43). The leading lady for CMS was Darlene Murray (22:51), and the first runner from Whitinsville Christian Middle School was Marie Tootell (27:13).

... Finally in the rarely contested "Fastest Runner Named Paul" competition, we have Paul Obara (28:44) outpacing Paul McDermott (29:27) and Paul Goodwin (31:21) for the title.
